Structural Details
A semi-trailer tanker is a type of tanker truck in which the towing head is connected to the trailer part. Compared with ordinary single-unit tanker trucks, semi-trailer tankers can effectively improve transportation efficiency when transporting oil. It is mainly composed of the tank body, vehicle frame, traction device, supporting device, electrical system, running system, protective device, accessories and so on.
Semi-trailer tankers are divided into two parts: the oil tank part and the skeleton that supports the tank body, also known as the running part. The rear parts of semi-trailer tankers are generally the same, but they can be classified into two types: those with double rear axles (two axles) and those with triple rear axles (three axles).
